Like all of my past breeding this is another line-bred breeding of my dogs.
The sire of this litter is an outstanding young male who will make his way into the show ring in the near future.
I feel that this male well represents the direction I have been heading in for the past 10 years.
There are many dog breeders who consider puppies as a profitable business
I have been very involved with animals my whole life including breeding and competition in many disciplines.
I started breeding these dogs because I love this breed and want to contribute to the future of the breed with
mentally and physically sound puppies who well represent what the American Pit Bull Terrier is all about.
With the high cost of experienced veterinary care, top quality dog foods
Genetic testing, showing, blankets, toys ect...
There is no profit in breeding dogs unless you choose to produce many litters per year
and not cull dogs from your breeding program who should not be bred.
As most of you who have called over the years wanting my pups know, I produce
very few litters. First of all there are way too many
Of our breed who end up euthanized in shelters.
Way too many of our breed who end up in someone's the back yard lonely and forgotten about.
Way too many breeders peddling pups who don't care where the pups go as long as they get their money.
The fate of these dogs can be horrific.
Although I would love for all of my pups to enter the show ring
the most important thing is that they enter a loving home
I would rather have my pup living in the house and a cherished member
of someone's family than living in a run in the back yard
until the next show
My dogs are part of my family. They are expected to be well behaved and well mannered in public
They are expected to know there is only room for one Alpha in the house
and she walks on two legs.
They live in my house and sleep on our beds
Each one is special, each one is happy. They all know what it means to play with toys,
to sleep on blankets, to eat healthy food twice a day, to be hugged and kissed
They know how much fun it is to play at the beach and hike in the mountains.
We tell them how much we love them and we prove it to them every day
Unless you are ready to really care for and really love a dog for the next 12+ years, please don't even call me
There is definitely the need for purebred dogs, without them all we would have is mutts
Nothing against a good mutt however, it is very important
to be able to trace the bloodlines of your dog.
This will enable
you to know about the dog's likely temperament and physical capabilities
you may want a dog for obedience, agility, ring sport, conformation
or many other disciplines
A purebred dog will allow you to own a dog that excells in the area of your interest.
Please be careful while choosing the breeder of your new puppy

of breeders that care about the dogs and produce quality animals

Producing all around quality show dogs is no accident
They are soft, cuddly and fun to watch play
But let's look at the big picture.....
Lots of piles and puddles to clean
razor sharp teeth that are always busy
all the vet visits for shots and worming
toe nails that always need clipping
and as that little bundle of joy grows
so do the size of the piles and puddles
You have to provide a safe kennel for the dog
high quality puppy food
and tons of time to share love and affection
with your new family member
now if you think you can commit to all this
you have to consider that your new giver of fuzzy warm kisses
is an American Pit Bull Terrier
the most misunderstood breed in the world
there are people that will hate him just because of his breed
some animal control facilities will destroy him
if he ends up in their possession
you will have to defend yourself for owning him
you will have to defend him from people that are uneducated
about the breed
you will have to keep him safe from people that
will try to steal him in order to fight him
you have a huge responsibility to train him
to be a well behaved member of society
and to properly socialize him at a young age
you have to be honest to yourself with the fact that
this breed loves people but tends to be dog aggressive
you need to make the commitment to this dog
for his entire life!
those who have already owned this breed before
will gladly accept this breed for what they are
and those of you that are considering the breed for the first time
need to think long and hard about it first
All things considered, this is the breed for me
the good far outweighs the bad
and as much as I thoroughly love these dogs
they are not a dog for everyone
